Our clinic combines the expertise of experienced ophthalmologists with the latest technologies to guarantee you the best possible treatment. Thanks to our modern infrastructure and innovative treatment methods, we can perform many procedures without the need for hospitalization.

Cataract
Cataract, or cataract, is a clouding of the lens of the eye that makes vision blurry and without treatment can lead to severe vision problems. Surgery is the only effective treatment and can fully restore your vision.

Dry Eyes
Dry eyes result from a lack of tear fluid or poor tear film quality, leading to irritation, burning and sometimes blurred vision. Targeted treatments can relieve symptoms and improve your eye comfort.

Glaucoma
Glaucoma is an eye condition in which increased eye pressure damages the optic nerve, which can cause irreversible vision loss. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential to prevent further damage.

Keratoconus
In keratoconus, the cornea becomes thinner and takes on a cone shape, leading to distorted and blurred vision. Treatments such as crosslinking and implant lenses can prevent further deterioration and improve vision.

Chalazion or barred grain
A chalazion, often mistaken for a barb grain, is a painless swelling in the eyelid caused by a blocked sebaceous gland. If necessary, it can heal spontaneously or be surgically removed.

Hordeolum or stump
A hordeolum (stump) is a painful, red swelling on the eyelid caused by a bacterial infection of a sebaceous gland. Warm compresses and sometimes antibiotics help the inflammation heal.

Macular Degeneration
Macular degeneration affects central vision and makes it difficult to distinguish details, especially when reading and recognizing faces. Early detection and treatment can slow the process and optimize remaining vision.

Vitreous detachment
Vitreous detachment is a natural aging process in which the vitreous in the eye detaches from the retina, which can lead to floaters and flashes of light. In some cases, it can cause complications, such as retinal detachment.

Retinal detachment
In a retinal detachment, the retina detaches from the back wall of the eye, which can lead to sudden vision loss. Emergency surgery is necessary to reattach the retina and prevent permanent damage.

Macular hole
A macular hole is an opening in the macula, the central part of the retina, resulting in blurred or distorted vision. A vitrectomy can close the hole and improve vision.

Epiretinal membrane
An epiretinal membrane is a thin membrane that grows over the macula and causes distorted or blurred vision. Surgery can remove the membrane and improve image quality.

Diabetes retinopathy
Diabetic retinopathy results from damage to the blood vessels of the retina caused by long-term diabetes, which can lead to vision loss. Early detection and laser or injection treatments help limit further damage.

Strabismus or squinting
Strabismus is an abnormality in which the eyes are not correctly aligned, which can lead to double vision and reduced depth perception. Treatment ranges from eye training to surgery, depending on severity.

Myopia (nearsightedness)
Nearsightedness (myopia) causes objects to be seen blurred in the distance because the eye is too long. Correction with glasses, contact lenses or laser eye surgery offers sharp vision.

Hyperopia (farsightedness)
Farsightedness (hyperopia) means that nearby objects are perceived out of focus because the eye is too short. Glasses, contact lenses or laser eye surgery can correct this.

Presbyopia (farsightedness in old age)
Presbyopia occurs as we age and makes reading and close focusing more difficult. Multifocal glasses, lenses or lens implants can correct the problem.

Astigmatism
Astigmatism is a refractive error in which the cornea or lens of the eye has an irregular shape, causing distorted vision. Glasses, lenses or laser treatment can correct vision.
