Can you get your eyes lasered with a cylinder deviation?
A cylinder deviation (astigmatism) is caused by an uneven curvature of the cornea, which prevents light from focusing correctly. Modern laser treatments such as FemtoLASIK, PRK and SMILE ReLEx can correct astigmatism down to about -6.00 diopters, depending on the thickness and shape of the cornea.
For higher cylinder defects or a cornea that is too thin, ICL lens implantation or a toric artificial lens may be a better alternative. A screening at Focus Eye Clinic will determine which treatment is most appropriate.
