From what strength can you get your eyes lasered?

At Focus Eye Clinic, we can correct different strengths with laser eye surgery, depending on the technique used and the thickness of your cornea:

• - Nearsightedness (myopia): from -0.75 diopters
• - Long-sightedness (hyperopia): from +0.75 diopter
• - Astigmatism: from -0.75 diopter

For strengths closer to 0.00 diopters, laser treatment can sometimes be less effective. Therefore, a comprehensive screening is first performed to determine if your eyes are suitable for FemtoLASIK, PRK or SMILE treatment. For lighter aberrations, contact lenses or glasses can sometimes remain a better option.
